Fueled by a passion for country music and performing, singer/songwriter Angela Peterson is the consummate entertainer. Constant performing in her native Houston, as well as in other Texas markets, has earned her a legion of ardent fans, and the word is spreading! From years of steady performances at such a young age, Angela amassed thousands of loyal and loving fans who watched the petite and charismatic entertainer grow up before their very eyes. With the production and self-release of eight CDs in Angela's storied career and sales of over 50,000 units and on-line sales over six figures, she is indefatigable. This do-it-all dynamo has already achieved many of her goals and dreams, and still...she keeps going!
Opening for major artists around the U.S. Angela's credits include opening for and performing on stage with country legend Willie Nelson, Brad Paisley, Big $ Rich, and Dierks Bentley. She has had support slots on shows headlined by heavyweights Toby Keith, Trace Adkins, Gary Allan, Pat Green, Roger Creager, Cory Morrow, Kevin Fowler, Craig Morgan and the list goes on and on and on. After moving to Nashville, Angela has attacked songwriting and performing at an alarming rate. A prolific write, Angela has co-written with some of the legendary songwriters of the last twenty years; working with the likes of award winners Stacy Widelitz, Thom Shepherd, Tony Martin, Tom Shapiro, Anthony Smith, Vince Melamed, Kris Bergsnes, and many more. While making her mark in songwriting, Angela remains one of the most dynamic and talented stage performers in the business.
Years of persistence, determination, and sacrifice have led this gal through many blessings in life. She takes the good with the bad, gets up from her stumbling blocks and has developed the necessary "thick skin." The small in stature but larger than life entertainer with the overflowing heart reflects upon how honored she was to receive a full-paid vocal scholarship to the prestigious Berklee College of Music, and then she smiles knowingly at the risks she has taken to follow her dream. Angela is known to proclaim, "Sometimes your dream come true starts TODAY!" Growing up performing, writing and producing her own works, Angela IS the rarest of all talents who was born for the stage. She is led by her love of music and her passion to work. There are no limits or boundaries to her star.
